I believe in Evolutionary Creationism
ReplyDeleteI'm probably closest the 3, but I agree with 4 in most situations.
ReplyDeleteWho is this? Please leave your name in a comment.
DeleteI believe in evolutionary creationism because I believe in God and I also believe that the way he created organisms on the earth could be compatible to science and evolution, it just makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI believe in old earth creationism because I have very strong religious beliefs but I also believe that there could possibly be a bit of evolution in our history because there is fossils and proof and stuff. I don't know how long it took for the earth to be created, a day could have lasted 700 hours so I'm not exactly sure. I do know that I very strongly believe in God and that belief won't change but I am open to learn about other ideas in order to be better educated.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why this is coming up as unknown, but Michelle F wrote this.
DeleteI am number 8 because I do not believe in a higher power.
ReplyDeleteWhat is number 8? Please provide a few more details.

ReplyDeleteOld Earth Creationism
ReplyDeleteI am a 4 because I believe in christ and evolution varies.
ReplyDeleteOn the spectrum I fall under the atheistic evolution category because to me there is more than enough proof to believe in only evolution. Natural selection is all but proven by Charles Darwin and his research on the galapagos islands.
ReplyDeleteTalia Ginsberg- I am a Progressive Creationism because I believe that God created new forms of life that gradually developed into who we are now over millions of years ago. Microevolution did occur at some points to develope new life forms but that was after God created major life forms.

ReplyDeleteI believe in Old Earth Creationism because I am Christian but I also believe in some evolution.
ReplyDeleteI believe in intelligent Design. I believe in this because I think there was evolution but a micro version. I believe more in the part that God created life.
ReplyDeleteGrant .
ReplyDeleteI can believe in 6 the most, because it talks about the big bang theory and how the universe started. I also believe it, because no one knows if there is a high power, and i'm not sure if anyone will find out.
Cody M
ReplyDeleteI believe in Atheistic Evolution
Ben
ReplyDeleteI believe in 6 the most because it talks about science and also isn't sure if there is a higher power which no one will find out for long long time.
I fall on 5a because it is hard for me to believe that the earth and everything on it came from the big bang. In my mind that doesn't make sense.
ReplyDeleteI fall on 5a because it is hard for me to believe that the earth and everything on it came from the big bang. In my mind that doesn't make sense.
ReplyDeleteI am a 10 because i personally believe that religion is a pyramid scheme.
ReplyDeleteOn the spectrum I fall under the atheistic evolution, this is because in my opinion there is more than enough proof that evolution is real, I am not saying it is wrong to believe the other sides, but personally this is how I was taught growing up. I am sure that if growing up my parents had me going to church I would believe a lot different then I do now
ReplyDeleteHalle H - I believe in old earth creationism because I firmly believe that God created the earth, but I also believe that some evolution could have occured and changed some characteristics about several different species. I definitely do not believe that we (humans) evolved from apes. I believe that God created us. We may have changed/evolved to fit in with our environment, but we didn't come from apes.
ReplyDeleteI think i fall under the creatisme called deslic evolution because i believe in evolution.i think you turn into different things but also if monkeys where once us then how have humans not turned into something different. we have stayed the same. also im am not a liberal.
ReplyDeleteI fall under Theistic Evolution because I believe that the process of evolution and the presence of a higher being both have an impact on the creation of human life, and the way that the world has changed.
ReplyDeleteMeghan Gleason,
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution because I do believe in the higher power of god, and I do believe in the bible. But I also believe in the process of evolution, I think that without evolution we would not be where we are today.
I believe I am theistic evolution because I believe that God is a higher power and I believe parts of the bible. But I also believe in the fact based parts of evolution.
ReplyDeleteI am a 7; agnostic evolution. I believe that there is no overlap between religion and science, and base my views on factual evidence and research.
ReplyDeleteI think I fall under deistic evolution, because that allows for evolution, but not a literal reading of genesis. This section also says that faith is maybe allowed, and I think that there might be a higher power, but I do not fully believe in God, which puts me at deistic evolution.
ReplyDeleteI believe I am intelligent design because I believe there is God and I believe in the parts of the bible. However, I believe there is also evolution and facts of evolution.
ReplyDelete-Lauren Schmidt
I think I fall under theistic evolution because I believe GOd had a lot of high power at the time but we also have a specific impact of human life. He did most of the parts for our world but now we struggle with things that he might have stepped back on, we don't know if he did or didn't, either way he could have.
ReplyDelete~Yankeila Huaman
On the spectrum, I fall as a Theistic Evolutionist. Because, like the description says, I think that the science of evolution compatible with Christian beliefs, without the literal interpretation of Genesis. I believe in God, but I also believe in the science of evolution.
ReplyDeleteI believe I am a Theistic Evolutionist because I believe that both evolution and a higher power of god have helped with creation of humankind.
ReplyDeleteI believe in young earth creation because, I believe that the Bible is the word of God and that you can see evidence of things in the Bible line up with things you observe in creation.
ReplyDeleteI swing more the sense of Progressive creation ideals based on the fact there is space for faith (God) but also allows for evolution which must have been there to shape the world as we know it. Then, faith steps back in for major organisms such as man. - Chris P
ReplyDeleteOn the spectrum I fall into category four which is old earth creationism. I fall into this category because I believe in God and I am doubtful about the theory of evolution.
ReplyDeleteI'm 10 I don't believe in an omnipotent force and believe solely on scientific evidence and facts.
ReplyDeleteOn the spectrum I would fall under Old Earth Creation because I am Christian so I believe God that created everything but he could have also created the facts and knowledge we have for evolution.
ReplyDeleteOn the spectrum, I would say that I believe in Theistic Evolution. I am Christian so I believe the Bible, however I don't quite believe Evolution didn't take place. I believe that God got things started, and then stepped back, only changing things when He saw fit. Therefore, I believe both both Evolution and Creationism.
ReplyDeleteAliya Fiske
ReplyDeleteI would put myself under atheistic evolutionism just because I strongly agree with the science that supports evolution and the evidence that proves Darwin's theory to be accurate. At some points I feel like there must be another force that helped to start the universe, but I don't consider this to be the higher power of God. My main ideas consist of what science has thus far proved.
On the spectrum, I would say that I believe in Gap Creationism. I believe in the bible and I believe that God created the Earth in 7 days. I believe that on the 6th day he created Adam and Eve. I believe that things do need to adapt to their environment, but I don't believe that all of a sudden there was a Big Bang Theory and then there were people and animals.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Old Earth Creationism, because I am christian and believe in God but also believe that creation of the earth and everything in it was not made in exactly 7, 24 hr days but there can be different creation.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Intelligent Design (4d) because I grew up being taught that I was made by a superior being, and I haven't seen enough evidence from the evolutionary side to make me believe that I came from an ape. However, I do believe that adaptations are present in the animal kingdom. I'm just not sure about a full blown "ape to human" situation though.
ReplyDeleteI think I believe closest to progressive creationism because I think evolution is a scientific process that occurs over many of years but I also believe that there was some higher power that began the process with the original organisms.
ReplyDeleteThis stud belief, both side have evidence on what happens but neither can be proven over the other making the even or equal.
ReplyDeleteJoshua price
DeleteI believe in Old Earth Creationism because I do believe the earth is old like science says but I also believe that there is a god that created the earth in his image.
ReplyDeleteOld earth Creationism because I think that god created Earth and everything on it, though I think that it is older.
ReplyDeleteI fall under Theistic Evolution because I do believe in the bible and I think that Genesis is a little weird and I do believe in evolution. I'm in a really weird spot.
ReplyDeleteTopher B.
ReplyDeleteI would say that I am agnostic evolution. I cannot absolutely discount a higher power, but I also don't think anyone can prove anything on the topic. I acknowledge that evolution has been scientifically proven.
I believe in agnostic evolution, I have no religious ties, so my beliefs on evolution are not influenced by religion. I believe in What has been exposed to me but can still understand if you disagree. This is fairly opinion based as all sides have logic, facts. It's fine to admit one side doesn't hold all the answers and there are possible errors in any proof backed theory.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution because I highly believe that we came from apes and apes come from other animals, but I also believe that life could not have gone this far without god. I believe their was jesus and that he lead people to believe he was the son of god.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution, I have strong religious beliefs, but I do agree that animals have adapted to the changing world around them.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution because I think that there was something that had to start or trigger the beginning of the Universe. But, I also believe that humans have evolved from the beginning of time and didn't look the same all throughout time to the present day. Humans are the only thing that have evolved and adapted. Animals are and other organisms are adapting and evolving to survive in their environment.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution because I do believe in god and the bible, but I also believe in evolution because science has proven that species have evolved over time. Science states fact, and it is hard to argue with that.
ReplyDeleteI believe in evolutionary creationism because I believe in evolution, because it had proven by science but I also believe in God and his teachings.
ReplyDeleteEva G.
DeleteI believe in Evolutionary Creationism. Evolution is scientifically proven, and I trust science. But I also believe in God, so I don't think that He just stepped away from everything after the Earth was created.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution, because I believe that evolution and a higher power both have an impact on how human life was created.
ReplyDeleteI believe in the Young Earth Creationism, because I believe in higher power because the higher power is one of the main impact on evolution and how it was created.
ReplyDeleteIzzy D
I believe in Evolutionary Creationism. I believe in evolution because it has been scientifically proven, although, I believe in God as well.
ReplyDeleteI am a 5 because I believe in creationism but I also believe in evolution. Not everything makes sense all of the time because I am in such a weird spot.
ReplyDeleteI believe in 6, Deistic evolution, because I believe in God, and also because evolution makes more sense to me.
ReplyDeleteKenna Aksamit - I believe in number 4, Old Earth Creations because I believe in the bible but not in evolution. Evolution has not been scientifically proven and I don't think that it can be proven.
ReplyDeleteI would be a 6 because I believe in evolution, and some religion.
ReplyDeleteI believe 5b because I feel like faith is a real thing but we also have control of our own choices and evolution is a part of make those choices.
ReplyDeleteI would say atheistic evolution or agnostic evolution because i have no religious ties and believe the earth started through science, not by God and i do believe in evolution
ReplyDeleteElla N
I believe in 4 because I do believe in christ and god and Jesus and all that funs stuff and evolution varies.
ReplyDeleteI believe in 5. I believe in god, but Geisis can be interpreted in different ways. I also believe in evolution
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution because I believe that evolution and God had a impact on the way people are today.
ReplyDeleteParker Cotton- I believe in (5a) Evolutionary Creationism. I believe that there is a God, and Jesus was the Messiah, but like hunter said nothing is super clear in the Bible. An example would be not knowing how long a day is in heaven. Seven days could be 7 thousand years.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution because everything can't be explained by science and their has to be some higher power watching us.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution because I believe in the higher power of god but I also think evolution has something to do with how we are today.
ReplyDeleteSaelah pescevic- I believe in (8) atheistic evolution, because i am not religious and think that earth was started through science, not by God in "7 days". With that being said, I do believe in evolution.
ReplyDeleteI am a theistic evolutionist because I believe in god but also believe in religion as well. I believe that god created the earth and evolution evolved from the organisms god created.

ReplyDeleteAiden G - When looking at all the possible choices of belief, I am a Diciest, I fall underneath this category because I don't dismiss any religious beliefs in how the Earth was born or in evolution. But I do strongly think that the Earth (and the rest of the galaxy along with its inhabitants) were created by a big bang or by some sort of scientific action that can be supported by hard fact, I don't believe that some "god like" or "all powerful" supernatural being made the Earth, there's just no evidence behind that.
ReplyDeleteI believe in 4, I believe that God is the higher power in life and that he created everyone and the earth.Evolution has not been proven therefore it is hard for me to believe it is true and it is a thing.
ReplyDeleteI believe in atheistic evolution. No offense, but God has always seemed a little far fetched to me, and evolution just makes sense to me.
ReplyDeleteSophia V - I believe that I am 8 which is Atheistic, I believe that I am Atheistic because I don't think that one man could've created a whole planet and everything on it. I believe that this world started with science and eventually just evolved into many things creating many different things, animals, and humans. Therefore I believe that evolution is related to science.
ReplyDeleteI believe in 6, which is Deistic Evolution. It allows for faith, which I do not fully, but still sometimes, believe in. It also does allow for evolution, which there is far more evidence behind, therefore making it easier to believe.
ReplyDeleteI would believe in theistic evolutionary because it allows both fate and science to support each other. I might fall under other categories due to my beliefs, but I think 6 represents me the best.
ReplyDeleteI think I would fall at a 6 on this spectrum, deistic evolution. I don't follow any religion, but I don't completely write off the possibility of something greater, either. I do believe in evolution as well, because there is tons of scientific evidence to back that theory up.
ReplyDeleteI would probably fall on the 7 of the scale because I think its important that people have their own beliefs but I firmly believe in evolution.
ReplyDeleteI believe I fall between Evolutionary Creationism and Theistic Evolution because it allows for both faith and science beliefs and I think each part of that has a factor in the creation of the earth and everything found on the earth.
ReplyDeleteI would probably be agnostic evolution because I don't care what other people believe but I believe in evolution and I don't think religion has anything to do with evolution.
ReplyDeleteI am a old creation story because I believe that it took longer than seven days but still believe in the creation story.
ReplyDeleteI am a 7 or 8. I never learned anything but the theory of evolution.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Day Age creationism
ReplyDelete-Kyle F.
I believe I am 3 or 4.
ReplyDeleteI believe in evolutionary creationism because I believe in God and natural events of evolution.
ReplyDeleteI believe in theistic evolution because I believe that both creationism and evolution happened but I believe strongly in Evolution.
ReplyDeletei just i am a christian. i follow what i was taught from when i was a small child. its what i believe its just my opinion. but science has evolved and gotten better. it has been able to prove a lot of the worlds greatest mysteries. but we will always never know if there is a god or not. if we just evolved over time or an almighty being created us. you can argue all you want but it doesn't change any thing because we just don't know.

ReplyDeleteI believe in 7 or 8
ReplyDeleteJesus.Cruz I believe in 8 bc we have evidence for evolution
ReplyDeleteSam MacKendrick. I firmly bieleve in agnostic evolution. There is no proof of creationism except for the Bible. But there is proof for evolution.
ReplyDeleteGarrison Alvarez. i believe in athieistic evolution becuase i dont believe in god and this is the only good way we cause have formed
ReplyDeleteHaley Virdi. I believe in atheistic evolution because I think that there is more proof of evolution then there is of god.
ReplyDeleteReece C. I believe in theistic evolution (5b) because I believe that God had started the world but not necessarily exact with Genesis. I also believe that evolution has taken its natural course and actually does make a difference over time. There is lots of proof for evolution to be true, but I still believe in God creating the Earth.
ReplyDeleteI believe in agnostic creationism because where we are right now in discoveries, this has the most factual evidence of truth.
ReplyDeleteI believe in 7 or 8 because there is evidence of evolution in science and I have no religious ties.

ReplyDeleteI believe in 4d. I believe this because I cannot look around our world and believe this is all one big scientific coincidence. I believe there is a God who created our universe for a reason and things like natural selection have happened naturally. I think some aspects of evolution could be true, but I think we were created by God. I also believe that God created each of us for a reason and we are all unique because of how he created us. We were all put on this earth with a purpose and only He knows. I don't think we all just randomly evolved from apes. There has to be a reason for life.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Intellegent Design (4d.). My whole life I was taught to belive in god. Therefore I have religious backround. Yet at the same time I belive science must have come into play from god. Why I chose Intellegent Design over Prosgressive Creatism is because the way Progressive Cretism is described is cheesy. Intellgent design is a great mixture because it doesnt just say science happend, then god made humans. No, Intellegent design goes into the variation that god created science on earth.

ReplyDeleteI believe in 5b, theistic evolution. I am not very religious, but I understand how important religion is to many people around the globe. I believe in evolution and I don't believe in Genesis, but again, religion is a very important part of societies all around the world.
I Am a Theistic evolution, I grew up going to a Catholic school for nine years of my life God was really important and the school taught me a lot about creationism, but unlike other private schools, they also taught me about evolution. This made me believe in both, and honestly, I don't care I am just happy I am here and alive. I do feel like we came from another form of life like apes but God could have been the one to make that change. BTW this is Rien Eckrich
ReplyDeleteI believe in Theistic Evolution, because I believe partly in both beliefs. My family and I are Christian, but I also believe that there is too much evidence for evolution for it not to be true. The theory states that a higher being created species, and likely chose to evolve different organisms.
ReplyDeleteI think I would probably fall on the 7 of the scale because I think it is very important that people have their own beliefs and opinions but I believe in evolution.
ReplyDeleteI think that I would fall at a 4D because there is room for faith and science
ReplyDeleteI believe in evolutionary creationism
ReplyDeletebecause it means that we were created and evolved
DeleteI fall under Theistic Evolution because I believe that evolution is a part of science but still believe in God.
ReplyDeleteI fall under the Atheist Evolution, because I do not believe that God made the universe, I do not believe that he made man kind, and so on so forth. But I do believe we go somewhere when we die.
ReplyDeleteI fall under intelligent design, because I believe in God and the theory of evolution.
ReplyDelete-Bella Campisi
ReplyDeleteI would fall under atheistic evolution or agnostic evolution because I dont follow any religion, and also because I dont really care to much bout religion.
ReplyDeleteI would fall under theistic evolution because I do believe what is taught to me is true by scientific evidence and although I'm not really religious I can understand others perspective on religion.
ReplyDeleteI believe in evolution creationism, because I believe the universe was sparked by something bigger than us.
ReplyDelete-T Pinkham.
I believe in creationism, but evolution is an interesting idea because animals do have to adapt to their environment and respond to it. But I do believe in creationism.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm theistic evolution because I believe in both forms
ReplyDeleteI believe I stand with Old Earth Creationist because I believe that there is a higher power, but I also believe that it used science to create the earth.
ReplyDelete- Maddie M
I believe in intelligent design
ReplyDeleteI agree the most with evolutionary creationism because I believe in God but I also believe that he created animals and plants to improve and change to become more fitted for their environment over long periods of time.
ReplyDeleteI believe in agnostic evolution. Science has shown evidence of evolution and change in a species, such as horses. I personally don't believe in a god or higher power, but I'm open to the possibility.
ReplyDeleteI believe in agnostic evolution because I truly conceive the ideas from every religion and presuppose that each theory can be in some way correct.
ReplyDeleteI think that I fall under 5B because I believe that things can evolve with there living environments.
ReplyDeleteI think that this video demonstrates how geography can impact a certain environment and cultural advancements. It shows how we as humans develop and display natural selection. Our location indicates how we as humans grow and affect the community as a whole.
ReplyDelete
